There’s always a little bit of a struggle doing an engagement in the dead of winter. Most couples try avoid shooting in the winter months in South Dakota. It’s very cold and there is a lack of color from not having any green grass or trees. Hailey preferred the idea of a snowy winter session I was all in! Here in the midwest everything is unpredictable and sadly didn’t get any snow for their session. Aaron proposed to Hailey this fall by a waterfall in the Black Hills, SD. We wanted continue with that same mountain look. So we choose to do their session at Palisades State Park. Which is known for their epic mountain and rock formations.
